NAJA partners with Shuffle to join new social media platform

Norman, Okla. – The Native American Journalists Association recently partnered with social media platform Shuffle to facilitate social and professional networking among its membership and the broader literary arts Shuffle community.

Shuffle is an ad-free, invite-only platform focused on creative fields. Shuffle is offering the NAJA community exclusive access to Shuffle’s Literary Arts community. This global online space connects writers, poets, editors, publishers, and educators, across all genres, styles, and cultures.

A critically important part of the NAJA mission is to ensure that Indigenous representation in media continues to expand through professional opportunities. The partnership with Shuffle will provide another platform for NAJA members to meet and collaborate with colleagues both within and outside of Indian Country.

“We hope that by offering members access to additional social media platforms that networking and job opportunities increase,” said NAJA President Tristan Ahtone. “Partnerships like these are designed to support NAJA members in their careers, and we look forward to meeting other members of the Shuffle community.”

NAJA will join Shuffle to share the important work of its membership and connect them with diverse voices in the literary field.

“We’re thrilled to have NAJA members be an early part of our Shuffle community,” said Shuffle Co-Founder Anuj Nijhawan. “Our goal is to build a thriving hub for the literary world with Indigenous and other diverse voices at the front and center.”
