Every Summer a new class of graduates is thrust into the world – having to make the nerve-wracking transition from academic life to professional life. The global pandemic has added a new wrinkle to the job hunt. NBC’s Craig Melvin will moderate a LIVE conversation with Omnika Thompson, Senior Executive Producer of MSNBC Weekends, Tammy Fine, Talent Acquisition Consultant, NBC News, Tiffany Lopez, Talent Acquisition Recruiter, NBCUniversal, along with LinkedIn’s Career Expert Andrew McCaskill. Our experts will walk through the do’s and don’ts of the virtual job hunt, focus on tips and tricks for how to successfully get what you need from others when networking and how to creating a “sticky” message. What are the key elements of a compelling personal narrative? How do you make your own story compelling and relevant to the opportunity at hand? Hosted by CNBC Senior Personal Finance Correspondent Sharon Epperson, this dynamic event will give students enrolled in NBCU Academy Academic Partner schools direct access to a panel of financial, business and thought leaders who will answer their most pressing questions about an array of financial topics – from saving to borrowing to investing.  The panelists will offer clear and achievable techniques and strategies to help participants make smart and effective financial decisions for their futures.
