Position is a member of the Vision Maker Media (VMM) management team that plans and manages Native American multimedia, audio and video programming for presentation to the Public Broadcasting System. Position may supervise some staff and student workers.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Broadcasting, Journalism, or related field plus three (3) years in broadcasting: producing and directing and/or programming development and promotion; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Computer skills, including web design, database management, Microsoft Office, video and audio editing software and other applicable software programs. Knowledge of audio and video productions and budgets. Project management and working in teams.
Ideal candidate will have fund raising, grant writing and/or supervisory experience. Knowledge of Native American peoples, tribes and culture. Knowledge of FileMaker Pro. Supervisory skills and abilities.
