New York Times seeks Indigenous opinion submissions

The New York Times Opinion desk is seeking submissions from NAJA members who might be interested in submitting op-eds.
Published pieces generally run 800 words, but can be shorter or longer. It’s also possible to work on a multimedia opinion piece including photos and/or video.

NAJA members are encouraged to contact the desk editor, Devi Lockwood, with any ideas. It’s most useful if pitches come in a 1-2 sentence headline format. If you would like to include full text, paste it in the body of an email: devi.lockwood@nytimes.com
